Chief Abdul-Ganiyu “Gani” Oyesola Fawehinmi, GCON, SAN was a Nigerian author, publisher, philanthropist, social critic, human and civil rights lawyer, politician. He held the chieftaincy title of the Lamofin of Ondo.

About Gani Fawehinmi
Activist, writer, and lawyer who has was the recipient of the Bruno Kreisky Prize, among other honors.
He attended the Holborn College of Law in London.
He refused to be honored with the Order of the Federal Republic due to his objections to systematic human rights violations in Nigeria.
He was born to his parents in the Ondo State.
He and Myrna Mack have both been celebrated for their work fighting on behalf of human rights.
