Domingos Montagner Filho was a Brazilian actor, playwright and entrepreneur. He began his career in theaters and circuses, through the course of interpretation of Myriam Muniz. In 1997, Montagner formed La Mínima group, alongside Fernando Sampaio, and won the Shell Award for Best Actor. In 2003, he founded the Zanni Circus, of which he was artistic director.

About Domingos Montagner
Brazilian actor, playwright, and entrepreneur. He is known for having founded the Zanni Circus in 2003 for which he was also the artistic director. He is also known for having played Captain Herculano in the 2011 soap opera Cordel Encantado.
He originally started playing handball before serving as Second Lieutenant of the Brazilian Army. He then started working as a clown in 1980 when he joined the theater company La Minima which performed as several circuses. He started his television career at the age of 46 and made his debut in the series Cordel Encantado on the Rede Globo network.
He has won several Premio Contigo! de TV awards including in 2012 for his role in Cordel Encantado and again in 2013 for his role in O BRado Retumbante.
He married Luciana Lima in 2002 and together they had three children named Leo, Antonio, and Dante.
